IONIAN FLOTILLA SAILING

Southern Ionian

The Ionian Island’s have been a popular haunt for Sailors for decades, and deservedly so. The rich blend of popular Islands such as Lefkas and Kefalonia with their sublime scenery and Venetian charm, along with lesser known areas like the uninhabited Dragonera Islands provide a wondrous fusion of ease and adventure. With moderate sailing conditions and relatively short passages our flotilla is perfect for those with limited experience. Not to put off the seasoned sailor however, as there is also plenty to keep the old hand delighted with secluded bays and the chance to venture further afield.

Each Island has it’s own unique allure, and for our itinerary we have carefully selected a route aimed to offer a taste of everything. You will be anchoring in iridescent waters yearning for you to dive in, exploring charming villages surrounded by lush olive groves and vineyards, and quenching your thirst or hunger in one of many lively bars and traditional tavernas.

We set off from our base of Astakos on the mainland, a chance to experience traditional Greek ambience. From here we head for the mountainous island’s of Kalamos and Lefkas before heading to the pristine waters of Meganissi and the Dragonera’s. Week two will see you diving off your yacht in Kastos, enjoying the sophistication of Fiskardo, and absorbing the serenity and sheer beauty of Aghia Efymia.
